Honestly, we have no idea about when Vivo would release an Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Vivo V5. If it happens, it will probably happen in the first half of 2017.

Update Vivo V5 to android Nougat. Although not the official firmware but no problem, use custom ROM also keep okay. Moreover there are even many features that are not in the default ROM,To be able to install rom nougat in Vivo V5, first please download first the following materials:

- Log in to TWRP Recovery
- Backup OS
- Wipe Data & Factory Reset
- Wipe Cache
- Install LineageOS_14.1_Unofficial.zip
- Wait until the install is complete.
- Install GAPPS Nougat 7.1 Micro
- Wait until the installation is complete.
- Reboot
